Beautiful, and thank you so much. The photo looks just like our driveway from the main road leading to our camp, and I tried drawing it last summer but it looked weird, lol.

Ellen, a little clarification please - is true that from top to bottom, the sky is darker at the top, gradating to light, but the Ocean or landscape goes from light in the back gradating to dark in the foreground? This is what I learned in Pastels, so I find myself confusing and doubting myself. Or perhaps this is not a “rule” for figurative abstracts.
